At first it went well, as the giant remained asleep after several poundings, but then it woke up and...and..they were..all gone...
It was over in just 7 seconds, it stretched out and rolled across the cavern twice, flattening 69 of my 70 strong army. I was sure we could have taken it, 45 red Pikmin and 25 of the mega buff purple Pikmin. Desperate to save my remaining purple Pikmin, affectionatly named "Lil' Ed", I whistled him over and tried to coordinate the attack as best I could. Amazingly, Lil' Ed (no doubt enraged from the death of his comrades) beat away a semi-circle of the maggot's health, but then he got squished on the wall.
At that point I ran off to the bathroom to cry, returning only to give you this warning: when you are playing Pikmin 2; beware the giant catapilliar maggot type thing.
The first person game style is not like the other Metroid games and appeals to new fans.
It's like the Resident Evil: Survivor series.... it is a series of Resident Evil games using a light gun and set in first person mode.
Metroid Prime is a series of Metroid games set in the first person.

Same thing.
It's damn annoying.
Ridley Scott makes the Alien films. and Ripley is the main character.
They suck.
Argh.
Alien Resurrection is on tommorrow night. I just remembered.
And Kraid does pwn.
He'll be harder to defeat in Echoes if you have to kill him the same way as in Super Metroid.
Seeing as it's threedee.
pwnage.
Kraid is back in Echoes. Pwn.
:-)
Maybe it's got something to do with Echoes being a sound that comes back to you after something happens.
Maybe this has something to do with the events of Metroid Prime being brought back. Or something.
I wonder how they'll bring Ripley back this time.
He was in Metroid. Killed.
Came back bigger, better, and metal, in Prime.
Comes back fully non machine(forgotten the damn word) in Super Metroid (somehow)
Frozen (even after he explodes) and brought back to space station thingy in Fusion (where he does nothing).
I got a fright (not jump out of my seat style, but frightish anyway) the first time I ran into the room with Ripley in Fusion.
I ran in and went "SHAT!! RIPLEY!!! RUN!!"
And I ran away.
Prime is set directly after Metroid, Super Metroid is set about 30 seconds after Metroid II, Fusion is set directly after Super Metroid.
