Nothing like em. Lord of the Rings is just following a completely linear path and fighting about 2 enemies at a time while your teammates cry out. Dynasty Warriors is an all-round melee. You can do the levels in pretty much any order. DW also has versus modes and challenge modes.
If LOTR was at the bottom of the ocean, DW would be on the moon.

SILENCE! Thou knowest nothing! It is based on chinese history just after the birth of christ. And it's not a button basher if you're any good. I know more about Dynasty Warriors than anyone else on these forums. Trust me.

SILENCE! Thou knowest nothing! It is based on chinese history just after the birth of christ. And it's not a button basher if you're any good. I know more about Dynasty Warriors than anyone else on these forums. Trust me.

Yes well. I guess I'm more of a cult follower of DW than a games reviewer.
Yea I don't have the games but dynasty warriors is really good. I prefer the burnout, timesplitters, metal gear and devil may cry series to that though hah.
