I've just this morning recieved Crazy Taxi for the PS2 and wow, It works really well with the dual shock, The controller setting A was a bit bad but type b is so much better for the PS controller.

I know this is pretty much the same as the dreamcast's but i do think they could have sorted out some minor problems,Anyway it's a great conversion and i highly recommend it, shame i can't save cus my Memory card naffed up on me.

Anyway thanks SR

The version of Crazy Taxi 2 I have got is American as that was released the 30th May and the Japanese version 31st May.

The game is good with some nice new moves. It also has a replay mode that allows you to make and direct your own replays. Its not as good as drivers replay system as there are only 4 different views.

The crazy pyrmid special games are quite nice. I have heard that there are all the 4 drivers from the first game hidden. You need to complete the crazy pyrmid mode to get them.

All in all its much of the same, so if you love Crazy Taxi 1 then you should love this.

Anyways this is a PS2 forum so I shouldnt be talking about a DC game that isnt even out here yet.

I havent got the Twin sticks. Crazy Taxi 2 is good, havent played it enough to say if its better than the first one. The crazy jump is a good move as you get lots of tips from the customers. I like that you can have the group of people and you have to take them to there locations one after the other. You get alot more tips for 4 people then you do for 1.

I can get cheap imports. So as Crazy Taxi 2 is out in Japan I am getting that later on today. So i'll write a review for it maybe. From what I have heard from friends who have the game is that its isnt as good as the first one.

They say the citys arent as good as you dont have all the nice big jumps like you did with the first one.

But i'll have a little go tonight and then see if it is as good. But i'll have 7 games I want to play, i'll have Crazy Taxi 2, Virtual ON, Vainshing Point, 18 Wheeler, Le Man 24hrs, Extermination and F12001 to play. I still would like to complete Shadow of Memories to get all the endings as I only have the one. I'll be getting Sonic 2 and Redfaction soon and then GT3 and Onimushua plus any other good DC games. Its nice that I have from now till September with no school work or homework, but in September i'll have Uni.

Having played the Dreamcast version, I prbably won't purchase the PS2 version as it is practically the same. Still a good game though. Might hire it out instead.

I have heard it isnt as good as the first one. I am getting Crazy Taxi 2 for the DC tommorow and I also have the first one so I can tell you how good it compares.

the PS2 version of Crazy taxi is worthy of the title of a sega game... albeit with a few minor worries. For example, the windoes of the Taxi's aren't nearly as well rendered... the transparent effects are nowhere near as clear.

But despite such faults, the game is hugely enjoyable... until the sequal comes out :)

I never had a chance to see that one, but i hope that it comes over to the PS2 when it gets it's modem.I hope Sonic gets his own game too cus I'll never get to see Sonic 2 either now i've sold off my dreamcast, oh well makes more room and more money for PS2 games.

Do you know when any more dreamcast games are coming to the PS2.I'm still waiting for space channel 5.
