turn the numb pad on. Hold down ALT. While holding alt type in a several digits number on the num pad. Release alt and u will get an ASCII character... try with diffrent numbers to gety different characters! Let's have a go:

Or you can do it in word by inserting a symbol.
(Insert > Symbol...)
Make sure it's a reasonable font (i.e verdana or arial) some don't work, so set your... thingy... to 'remember me' incase the computer doesn't recognise your details!

just try opening a picture file in a program like notepad and it should come out with loads of weird letters! then all you have to do is copy and paste your fav ones.
Does anyone know how wookie manages to change the letters to those funny symbols in his name?
