The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
Me and my chum Venombyte were just chatting about the closure of the last story. We've come to the conclusion that we need more writers... and since there are a lot more people on here than there were half a year ago, I think it's time to try and encourage more people to write.
So, we've come up with the idea of a short story competition... it's a nice little idea, that should get more people writing, so we have a good idea of their talents.
This also applies to the CURRENT writers. I.E. Me, Pb, Meka, Ant... so on. You can write a story too.
If you're interested in this, please state so below/above, so I've got a good idea of figures. Then... I'll think of what you can write about. :0)

Tony, if we have already posted a story in he chat forum, must we re-submit it in the prime forum?
So, will previous entries count? If not I'll just re-post my story, and I'm sure you won't want that!!!
Also, can we have more than one entry, as I have a staggering amount of revision sessions this year.

Hear that Grix?
You have Authority!
Grix must set the rules and the time frame for it.
Either way I don't mind.
The competition is still going on, people!
But I must find out, what was the quote from my GAD winning story on UKGames.com??? Please tell!!
