"Short Story Competition"

Hello there.

Me and my chum Venombyte were just chatting about the closure of the last story. We've come to the conclusion that we need more writers... and since there are a lot more people on here than there were half a year ago, I think it's time to try and encourage more people to write.

So, we've come up with the idea of a short story competition... it's a nice little idea, that should get more people writing, so we have a good idea of their talents.

This also applies to the CURRENT writers. I.E. Me, Pb, Meka, Ant... so on. You can write a story too.

If you're interested in this, please state so below/above, so I've got a good idea of figures. Then... I'll think of what you can write about. :0)

I thought that you said short stories. 5,500 words and you are only half way through it Grix. My stories tend to be much shorter than that. Mind you I am only 14 and Grix is... hang on a sec how old are you Grix? Never mind I guess once I am older my stories will begin to develop.

I can't seem to get any ideas 'til about 11.30 pm. It's really weird. When i first started trying to wrtie my story i had no ideas at all, but come 11.30 they all started flowing, it was quite bizarre.

You do know i'm using al three starting lines Grix? Is that allowed?

Damnantions. Writers block... why aren't I tired yet?

I think Grixs story will be longer than mine, its about 2/3 done and it's around 4,500 words. Still only first draft though.

Sorry to diasspoint you RBS but mine doesnt have anyone from the FoG in it.

I would be interested in writing a story and maybe being in someone elses story. You wont regret saying yes to MJ.

I prefer the "group" stories as well...

I'm about halfway through my story now... it's 5,500 words long already.

It's a lot different to anything I normally do...

I prefer them too... longer is usually better.
