Terrible wastes of time.
EDIT: Ive just checked, im covered under the paypal buyer protection.
The first version is commonly accepted as buggy. I have one and it crashes often, games experience slow down and the lens gets clogged up with dust or whatever frequently, causing problems for reading DVDs and sometimes games.

Where do you get that from?! The version 1.0 Xbox with Samsung drive was the best, most reliable and least prone to crashes. There was a batch with faulty Thompson drives that scratched discs, but once they were all replaced it was fine.
