Why God why. I didn't actually mind PD. But now... urghhh. What's worse is, they're making a tv series as well.
...But, the sequel on the Gamecube is now announced to come out at Fall 2002. Quite a while, but hopefully Rare will get it out on time. (Which has about the same chance of a brain cell finding a partner in Ant's head...)
The big news rush for GC we were expecting has not come. And it's a damn shame... it's been a bit boring since E3.
You should try to infiltrate military outposts, it's bleedin' hard mate.

Otherwise you're left with The Mummy Returns.
I got MGS because it was supposedly a brilliant game. I got it, and the graphics were good, gameplay was superb and the plot was amazing. A big bonus, indeed.
Also, was MGS....unrealistic?? I suppose so, but that's what make games so good. And still, the other parts of the plot would balance it out a little. :D

Altyhough lets be honest... the plots for Deus Ex and MGS may be all well and good in a game... but when you look at whats actually going on, its a rather hackneyed and dubious, second rate stuff for movies... Jean Claude Van Damm movie storylines... :)
Perfect Dark?
They're doing a No One Lives Forever movie, which might work. A mix of Mrs Bond, Austin Powers and In Like Flint.
I know I'm going to hate another video game to movie effort.
Has there ever been a decent one? And nobody can say Mario Bros, because that disappeared faster than a cake at a Vanessa Feltz is nice convention.
Movies to games and games to movies don't work.
It's undisputable fact folks.
Tomb Raider won't work.
Sure, Ms Jolie is attempting to seduce Goatboy from the posters but I refuse to succumb to her.
Tomb Raider will be bad, but hormones will obliterate the fact.
Mind you, frankly who cares?
It's Jolie.
In shorts
With guns.
Thank you god.

I guess we wait till SpaceWorld then.
Mind you, I've only just got round to downloading all of the E3 videos, and new information on the games we do know about keeps coming through.
And the thought of a Perfect Dark film?
Pap. Absolute trash.
Thank you for enlightening my day.

Well, now I'm off to find a partner for my brain cell.
