I felt so sure I was going to win again. After I posted a new review for ISS 2 for PS2, (even though there isn't one I put one under ISS 2000 - PS2 section)I told many that I had a good chance of winning another game on this site. It was long and I tried to make it as detailed as possible.
When I found out that jd99 won it was quite displeased. Without actually looking at his piece of work I was actually looking forward to reading it. It was a very good piece of writing by jd99, but it was rather short. Yes it's quality not quantity, but I didn't see how he won.
Sorry to be a pain in the a**e and i'm not trying to 'put down' jd99 or even change the judges decision. But i'd just like to know what I could do to increase my chances of winning GD.

I'm well known amongst my friends and teachers at school for putting things bluntly. EG. We should let the parents tell their kids what's right and wrong and not let it be decreed by authority figures. They just get screwed more than Monica Lewinsky otherwise.
My english teacher wasn't best pleased but I still got full marks :-D
Judges mood, what appeals to them, what catches their eye and so on.
Chances are that your piece came 4th or 5th, as there are always quite a lot of good entries.
Soon we will be giving more prizes, and we will be evaluating a slightly more scientific approach to judging the competitions.
I reckon you need about 10 good entries for a reasonable chance of winning, but then I've never won!
Don't throw bottles of cheap French beer onto fires :D
