Straight from Canada from Nov 21st.

If you can get a better price than that, tell me - I'm thinking of ordering :D

Too many games to consider importing now.

I'll keep my stance of supporting the European gaming scene.

I find it highly unlikely a region lock will exist. Import away children!

If I knew that there was going to be no territory locks, I'd pre-order one now.

They may not region encode Japanse or American games...

But the delayed European release due to the screen shortage may mean a bad launch in Europe. Especially if those have imported.

It wouldn't be worthwhile for Nintendo to region encode DS games. It would cost extra money and it wouldn't really provide any benefits. They only do it with console games because of the TVs.

Despite their lack of region encoding on handheld games so far, they have always printed something along the lines of, "Not for sale or use outside of North America, Canada or Mexico," on the boxes of US games.

Didn't stop me with Wario Land 2, Pokémon Yellow and Pokémon Pinball mind.

You are aware Nintendo have yet to confirm that there are no territory locks on the game?

It is unlikey, Nintendo removed them for "travel" purposes so people can buy games in whatever country they like.

It's just that after their new import crackdown it may not play UK games.
