Ever since there are two fog forums now i have disliked the whole of the forum settings and it appears that newbies are ruening the forums with spamming and hacking. What happened to SR, all the problems seem to have occured ever since the forums were split and it just does not have the feel like it used to when there were just the old faithfull ppl in the forums like grix, ant, snipe, tony, meka, me, non zero, sheepster and the list goes on. Something dont feel right and fog seems to have plumeted down a large mountain

OK how about this.

On FOG(chat) the newbies are only allowed to post ONE topic a day.

This way they will learn to not waste there one topic by posting crap, it will also mean the forum will be less cluttered and messy.

Everybody will be happy, the regulars wont have to look at endless newbie topics and the newbies will still get there fair say.

What does everyone else think about this?

We've been all through this today Goldy. Now

but i was better that way cause the cr@p topics get filtered down to the bottom and forgot about and the best stayed at the top, that is how it should have remained

I still get the feeling that FOG(C) is used as an excuse to pot crap.

I though it was Tony who thought of it :)

I think the newbie restrictions should be extended to the chatter.

No, I like it. It just needs a few tweaks, such as the no newbie topics on the prime.

(Which was a touch of genius.)
