"Ron or not"

RON a ron would be a ruler of newbies who gives them info and is nice to them. The ron would have to be a regular and as their status they would be known as ruler of newbies.

I think spider would be perfect for the job.

i think there should be a RON or whatever..a real regular and there should be a newbie to pass on the message to the RON...

I know this person in real life and like i said he gets really jealous, he's beeon SR for one day and doesnt understand HON. Do not take his opionion, he doesn't understand how much people know me on SR!!!

There is not going to be a RON or HON or whatever else it is called. Even if Tony decides to do this not many people will vote because it is not like the notable election. Everybody knew those people who were up for election as they post quality posts regulary and have been here a while.

As well as this what would a HON do? Really new newbies may listen to him but I doubt it. Also the HON would have the burden of having to read through crappy topics before anyone else to give the newbie advice. I am sure even with a HON that regulars (no names mentioned) will continue to prod and abuse newbies mainly because it is probably fun.

Oh and a lot of established newbies may disregard the HON altogether as the newbie status does not mean much to some people. Some newbies have been here quite a while, in some cases longer than regulars and these people would not respect the HON. Also if there was an HON he/she would have to have a good history of writing quality posts.
