After a poor launch thanks to Sonys lack of great games..bar SSX.I have finally realised my mistakes by not buying it at launch,I apologise to all you members who have bought one and have stuck with it through all the comments made by other members(i was one of them). But i finally see that it is a great console,so much so i bought one and I think it is amazing.Sure it hasnt had the quality titles it promised but these commin months should seal those comments in a bag and pack them off to Cuba.

I mean,Developers have had the time to develope some class games but so many have failed to deliver but now we are starting to see the 2nd generation ps2 titles and they are the nuts.ZOE was good but didnt have tat edge which people needed, and Starfighter was good but never apealed to everyone.Extermination is one of the first to show off what the ps2 can really do.I have played this for over 4 hours and it is a great game which is on par with resi evil games. It has great graphics and has a feel to the game that just makes your heart beat a little faster. The ps2 needed a survival horror title because there hasnt been a vast quantity of adventure games. The only one that springs to mind that was any good was Rayman Revolution.Extermination is out now.

Other titles to grace the system soon is one of my favoutrite looking games which is the Bouncer. It hast had the best of time with the critics but i love the streets of rage series and this looks like a blend of simialr action.People have said it has the best graphics so far on the ps2,i agree if you look at the screen shots, they look amazing. The detail and enviorments all look stunning. It looks like a game to beat all the aggression out of your body. And i cant wait for this little gem to be released.

Everyones choice and a dead cert of generating high sales,is the best racing game ever.Gran Turismo 3.It boasts a new level of realism in the rcing genre. You dont control a Nissan Skyline, your in a skyline. It is that realsitic. As long as it keeps the relaistic handling, you wont hear any complaints from me.

Another Key release for The ps2 is Red Faction which is a futuristic first person shooter, although it hasnt had the hype of other ps2 titles,it looks like one of those quiet hits.It has the gameplay elements of half life and the graphics of unreal tournament.Sounds good?.ohhhhh yes it does and i certainly will be addding it to my collection come june 22nd.

There are many more quality titles comming this month and beyond, but even if your a die hard Nintendo fan or a Sega fan,you have to agree the ps2 is comming into its own and it rolling out those great titles. The future is indeed bright for ps2 owners, after all these games, were gonna need a rest becasue solid snake comes back!!

still its a long time to wait till the Gamecube. I'm in the same sort of position. I have the money for a new console but want to save it until the GC comes out. But i am being tempted to buy a PS2

I had one and it broke down 3-4 times and I thought it can't be worth this much hassle and sold it to cex!

Now I see some great games that I can play on my mates PS2 which isnt a launch one so it is fine and I love ZOE, Summoner, ssx, and I'm looking forward to GTA3!

I did consider getting a new one shortly after selling mine and realising that the ones on sale now arent duff!

And they are £350 in the nearest shops and my parents didnt want to spend 350 on there credit cards even though I had 300 quid to spend. And they said why do I wanna buy another one after I just sold mine!

Then I heard about the GameCube and XBOX and GBA and the prices so I have decided to wait for those instead!
