Planning a month tour of Europe next July with some people. Although we had originally planned it with a car/jeep I think we're going to go with Interrail now - [URL]http://www.interrail.com[/URL]
Anyone ever tried it?

Hostels. You can also sleep on the train if you are travelling, just pay whatever the surplus is.

What would you do for accomodation?

Nor I, it was a female friend who suggested it, she is doing the same.

My brother went round Europe by train between cities/countries with a couple of mates. He had a very good time so to anyone considering going I say go for it.

I've finished uni, have some room in my overdraft, and no sign of a career on the horizon.

Better look into finding someone to go with.

I've applied for dental school, but I don't think I'll get in, it's way too competitive. My parents really don't mind if I don't get a place - but are happy for me to travel (as long as I pay for it). I also have penfriends in the states that I can't wait to met. Especially one...

Hardly, most uni's offer programs that allow travelling. It's not part of my course, but I'm hitching to Prague this Easter for charity. I just have to raise £300...
