Much like whitestripes needing some new DVDs, i've got sick of the same 6 CDs in the cars CD changer.

Last five CDs I brought,

Acoustic thingy (I think it's called acoustic love)
Dogs Turn against this land (brilliant)
The Ataris
Some chillout crap (4 CDs)
Magic numbers

Like chillout, especially with modern dance music, any examples of good guitar playing and easy listening tripe.

Anyone got any good recommendations (not James Blunt, can't stand the fella)

I really appreciate music that you can get lost in, there are a few good William Orbit tracks out there if you like vocal-less stuff

Get some Brighteyes stuff..really passionate and intelligent acoustic. Not the new album though cos it's a bit rubbish.

It's not really chillout but Explosions in the Sky is my current choice of music whilst I drift off to sleep at the moment, probably the lack of vocals which allows me to listen without feeling the urge to concentrate too hard.

Some of the OT stuff'll only set you back about 6 quid.

I'd recommend the "Waterfall Cities" and "Become The Other" albums.
