Ok, hands up, I have never - knowingly - heard a piece of music by Pink Floyd before. Never. This is shocking. So today I acquired (through means I'll leave you to speculate on) Dark Side of the Moon, and it is chuffing spectacular. I can see where most of the bands I listen to, and made me pick up the guitar, got their ideas from.

Excellent. What's their other stuff like?

Always found them to be a weak hybrid of Genesis and The Who.

Not impressed with Animals, seems like much the same stuff as DSotM. Though they were "prog. rock"?
