I'm basically going as Hitler, except in 1940s English gentleman form.
So I'll have the swept hair and tasche, and this awesome evening lounge suit type thing with hankerchief and all
And I'll be going about saying things like "tally ho, old chap" and "jolly good show" in an accent that is perfected.

No, I'm going as myself with swept hair and a moustache while wearing an evening suit and being all gentlemanly and polite.

I wonder how long your accent will last, my friend's lasted as long as walking up to the party, and was abandoned the whole time

You've got it wrong, Hitler wasnt British so he didnt speak like that, he spoke German, niether was he a gentleman!! Try somone like Churchill!! :D
