2001 what a great year this is! Started with Conker and release dates put forward, then the GBA was released in Japan!

Next we have US and European GBA's to come out (2 weeks for us). Then Spaveworld in Japan and Nintendo show in the UK! Then the release of the Gamecube in Japan, then in the US completley knocking Microsoft for 6!

Whilst we enjoy the final breaths of the N64 and prepare for the release of the Gamecube! What a cool Nintendo year this is already!

Sony has had to take a back seat to the Nintendo Vs Microsoft war and Sega has sadly departed but Sega is probably the 3rd party developer both Nintendo and Microsoft will be fighting over!

We are only half way through this year and the next 6 months will prove to be the most exciting year for every Nintendo fan!

Here's to the future

Damn right turbo. There will never be one ultamate console which beats all other competion hands down until companies join together. Which i doubt will happen for a very long time. A very long time!!!!

That sounds pretty damn cool. Although they said that about Banjo-Tooie as well. I don't know whether they kept their promise as i've never played Banjo-Tooie.

Oh well, if any one knows what happened with the ice key, the desert door and the shark island then please tell me ok.

I hate these topics.

Everyone know it's going to be a great year for Nintendo, but it will also be a great year for Sony, and Sega as well.

Everyone seems to think there can only be one console on the market, but can't you all see this is balls?

Now that Nintendo and Sony have established their positions, they will both do well and live together in harmony. Some people will play on Sonys, and some people will play on Nintendos. Whatever. What I do know is, not everyone will swing to one console and leave the other one!

Just let them get on with it and forget all this console wars BS.

There were originaly going to be three Zelda Oracle titles for the GBC but one had to be canned because of technical difficulties. I heard a while back, I may be wrong but they will both coincide with one another via a password system - You may open new areas and levels in both titles by finding out the passwords in each!! Thats all I know about it!!

Replying to zeldapro:

Similar to Pokemon, there will be two Zelda games released called the Oracle of ages and the Oracle of seasons.

They are both similar but of course Nintendo will make them different with combining features - not sure how it will work does anyone know?

Yes, I bet Nintendo are rolling on the floor with glee!

It is not just going to be E3 that is making Nintendo happy, but the release of the GBA and also SpaceWorld.

Nintendo produced some top quality games for the N64, but you can not help but feel that the N64 could have been a tad better than it was. However, that didn’t stop be having years of fun with the great games available for it. Nintendo have corrected some of the mistakes that they done for the N64 and improved them with the GAMECUBE. I am sure that the GAMECUBE will serve ME the best games out on any console, ever!

The thing that amazes me is, I have not even started to look forward to games like Zelda because I have been getting very excited with the new original games that are coming out. They just look great! Anyone who has read about Pikmin will agree with me.
Although the graphics on it are not the best in the world, they are good enough to suit the game. What Pikmin really consists off is great, original gameplay.

Good luck with the future Nintendo, although I am sure you will not need it!

Great to see the UK finally getting some recognition by Nintendo - Excitebike finally released yesterday and what a game it is - well worth waiting for!!
The Game Boy Color has had some brilliant games of late, Alone in the Dark, Pokemon Gold/Silver and two Zelda games to come!!
And only a while till the GBA is out with some amazing titles!!
Then we will be doing it all over again waiting for the GC!!

Yeah it has been Nintendo's year and things will start to heat up agian when the GBA is rleased!

And Sony have had to stay back a bit, maybe they will go down like the DC since they did rlease their next-gen console extremely early!
