At college there's a firebell test every Monday at 9:30ish in the morning. It lasts for about 5 seconds and no further action is taken. We don't actually do a fire "practice" or "drill" - they simply test the alarms to see if they work!

Was at my sister Hayley's that other day she's cooking me dinner. Im sitting at the table waiting for it the fire alarm goes off. Coz she's so small I see her run to the fire alarm. Oven glove's in hands she jump's up and down to try and get the fire alarm. HAAA it was funny. But the noise of fire alarms annoy's me so much.

My flat mate recently removed a girls underwear from her person in front of the taxi rank.

Yeah, our alarm is fooking loud and screechy.

We had our drill last monday at 8:30am. The particular noise they've chosen is...ear splitting.

i had a drill this morning, the alarms is so ear piercing, i'd rather die from the fire then experience it again.

Exactly, but we never found out if they got fined or not.

I hope they did.

In fact, I hope they die.

We had one a few weeks ago at 12:30am.

Luckily me and my flatmates were still up so we just strolled out, but there was a lot of nightwear action from others, coming out bleary eyed.

And you know what caused it to set off? Some idiots in Apartment one decided to light matches and hold it up to the detector, to see how long it would take.
