iPod = broke
iPod = sold
Used 20GB Zen = £90
Used 20GB Zen = bought

So the death of one piece of consumer electronics has meant the rebirth of another peice. And I know how much you all love the Zen, so yeah. Can I join your club?

Best I've used in terms of interface is easily the iPod. Pity it's a bast. A sexy, sleek, stylish bast, but a bast nonetheless.

Hmmm. It's pretty good - but the Zen is also pish easy to use.

I want a Zen because it appears to be the least fickle machine as far putting tracks on it goes, also I've yet to hear anyone complain that their 'Creative Zen product' has broken unlike with Apple with and Sony products.

Also they're pretty cheap.

So: Cheap, apparently reliable and easy to use, should be the winner.

Only problem with the zen is it's not to reliable if you use it for data storage as just an mp3 player it's great though.

I wouldn't dream of using it for data storage.

I've a portable 120GB HD here! :D

My Zen Micro has broken - well, the headphone jack has. My old 20GB zen got beaten to hell and never stopped working.

Yeah, the fact I run Win 98 didn't help my iPod situation. Apple don't support it, so I had to go(as it were) through the backdoor to use it. Which was considerably awful.

So yeah, I'm hoping for a couple of thousand songs on my Zen and hoping it won't be a bast. Aslong as it fits in my pocket and blasts out my (obviously mainstream) music, I'm happy.

Yeah, this is the sort of one I want, one of the early big ones.

Not that big - more chunky than large in terms of width/length.

Just look for Creative Zen 20GB, the 'original' Zen, before the NXtra, Touch, Micro etc.
