Hee hee, aparently he was p*ssed off coz the Marines on the boat made him wear it! But he's still not going to be doing his own stunts in the films though...poof.

Yes, Dr Hook without the Doctorate :)

Would be a bit of an oddjob patenting that though.

for me it's gone;

Good Bond, bad Bond, good Bond, bad Bond, good Bond and so I won't be totally suprised if this guy turns out to be not a very good Bond.

The new ones are pretty poor, certainly since Goldeneye (in my opinion the last good bond film). They seem to have made the fatal mistake of turning bond into another no name action franchise.

Sure, Bond is renowned for action sequences, but some of the newer stuff just seems over the top and 'un-bondish'. Surfing on tidal waves and invisible cars just doesn't cut it for me. They seem to be putting too much emphasis on action sequences and CGI and not enough on the storylines and dialogue. I find the Bourne films, and one offs like Ronin, to be more bond like than some of the newer offerings.

Brosnan wasn't all that great in my opinion, he did the best he could with what he was given though I suppose. From what he said in interviews, he really wanted to carry on as bond, but those in charge said no. Let's hope a new bond means new life for the franchise.

Never be as good as it used to be. I tend to watch the old ones rather then the more modern ones.
