Is it just me or did this game sorta come out without a bang? I mean Animal Crossing got a bigger reception prior to release than this classic title.
I haven't seen one advert, most magazines are plastering Paper Mario or Donkey Konga on their covers and most Nintendo of Europe stuff is far more interested in last weeks GBA SP price drop and Pokemon release.
Poor Pikmin 2, I hope it won't effect the sales too much.
Yayu!

I thought that, although I thought it could also be the music that plays on the area selection screen.
And if WS is on Day 40, we know this Pikmin 2 is going to last ages. Yey.
Challenge mode is also...challenging if you want to get perfects.
Also, I'm pretty sure one of the tunes they hum is the music from Luigi's Mansion, done in the same style as Luigi hums it (except less scared).
Once you get used to the fact that you're controlling Louie as well as Olimar things start getting a lot better. At the beginning I was forgetting he was there, but now, once accustomed to two playable characters, things can be completed a lot faster.
Got the red, purple and white Pikmin so far, and now attempting to get the blues. I know where they are, but I've had a bit of trouble so far getting to the mofos.
Wouldn't be surprisaed if it turned out to be my favourite Cube game yet.
And Loogie scared and getting chased by the Pikmin :D
The Piklopia thing is rather cool, I could play with that for hours, chucking Pikpik carrots at the monsters (now we know why Olimar called them Pik-min).. Still want the Dolphin back though.. :)
