£150 a year, for a channel that hardly puts out any quality programming. Fantastic.
2. Used to have good comedy
3. Crap at everything
4. Reasonable comedy, some daring programs, good movies
5. CSI, Law and Order, The Shield, fairly decent movies
Sky One. Occasionally decent Simpsons, Futurama etc
Living TV. CSI, Boston Legal
Challenge. Whose line is it anyway?
Bravo. Gamer TV, occasionally good UFC
Hallmark. House, Law and Order
FX. Carnivale, The Shield, NYPD Blue, The Wire, Buried, Murder One etc.
UK TV people. Old HIGNFY shows
3 occasionally have good films, but then they put on 35 min news instead of showing last 20 mins of film.
5 is rubbish.
Irish Channels:
RTE One and Two are alright, as is TV3, only watch them for films.
TG4 is in Irish and therefore not watchable. Well, listenable.
Great.
But yeah, lotsa money.
But 2/3/4 have good stuff.

And if they had the extra money, maybe there could be good tv one day.
Also, it's nice to have news which doesn't have quite such a strong commercial drive to present things in a way that maximises viewership and profits.
However, with news and stuff available on the net, the prospect of giving up tv altogether seems increasingly attractive.
