Taken from IGN.com

"Ubisoft announced today that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow is about to get an infusion of fresh multiplayer maps, available (of course) via Xbox Live.

The first, "Village," is a small map designed for teams of five or less. It's also available free of charge, right now.

Four more maps will soon be released in the form of Assault Pack #1, for which Ubisoft is asking a mere $5.00 to download. The company expects to have these available within the next few weeks. Get ready."

So that's about £2.99 in real money.

Think I'll wait for reviews as I'm not exactly desperate for new maps. Still, it's a decent little package if you play Black Arrow a lot.

I honestly don't mind paying for content, I've bought both PGR packs + SC:PT content but I've never thought that the maps ubi have done have justified any sort of price, but if these turn out to be better I'd be happy, at least with new guns we get a bit more variety, I hope they are decent so I can get back into it, Village was ok but nothing special!

Ali - are you buying CS/HL2 over steam tonight?

Hedfix, it isn't the price that Spikecast is complaining about I don't think. No one would mind paying for some quality content.

I don't think anyone would want to waste £3 for the sake of it.

PT is so much better. Well worth paying £3 for maps on that, but no way for RS3 - it's just more places to shoot other people, and that's it. I went on BA for the first time in ages yesterday, and downloaded the Village map. It's rubbish.

PT = deep, clever, tricky and teamwork = best Live game, still.

Same here. Fair price, I just don't play the game enough to justify the cost.

I'm still loving Pandora Tomorrow :D

I'd rather have new maps than new guns

Anyway you didn't think the 17-20 quid price would mean downloadable content you had to pay for?
