Does anyone know where i can buy a half decent mp3 player under 20 quid? i dont mind about size because i can just delete old ones. I've tried froogle but they all look tacky or are really expensive.

Yeah but. Money is the deciding factor. He can't decide to get a bigger player if he can't bloody afford it.

I expect there's decent file playing CD players for pretty cheap now.

ie you burn the MP3's on as files instead of CD tracks so you can fit even more on and it'll play them.

Some of these ones that claim 8hours battery life is available from 1 AAA battery are utter crap. I had the displeasure of using one, in the end I was lucky if it lasted an hour. Get a decent CD player, and a re-writable CD.

If you have a CD burner just get a cheap portable CD player from woolies for 14 quid and burn your own.

You should be able to get around 20 on one CD. Get a CD wallet that can hold 10 CDs and you'll have a larger collection of songs than you'll get on a 20 quid mp3 player.
