I know portable games console are made to be used on the move but alot of the time their used in the house. Wouldn't it be a great and simple idea of having s-video+Audio output so you can play on a big TV.

Old consoles like the gameboy which would just look ugly on a big screen because the resolution wasn't that sharp but with the GBA being 32bit this would be lovely on a tv and you could use the GBA as the controller and look at the tv.

When you want to use it portable just unplug it.

or is this already on it??

lol! Gamegear thing on the SNES?

How about the Super GAME BOY which played Nintendo Game Boy games not Sega Game Gear! lol!

And the Transfer Pack so far only lets you transmit data from the Gameboy cart to the N64. The Pokémon GB games playable on Pokémon Stadium are actually being played from the N64 and not the Game Boy cart. All that happens is the savegame gets transferred and you continue from it.

Nintendo have probably been working on Something very special as regards the GameBoyAdvance - GameCube linkup, lets hope it adds to both systems to make them even better :-)

You would need a weird cable, as I doubt they will have a coaxal output.

Thats a good call man... Since the GBA and GC are going to be VERY closly linked... with some games useing both the systems as a game enhancement... it may be a part of the GC to allow GBA games to be viewed via the GC on a TV...???

Wouldnt you need to buy a signal converter...

Since it would have to change the signal type from the LCD to a TV...

And even then to either PAL or NSTC...

... however... if they sold these... for about 15 quid... I'd definitly pick one up... I've seen some screen shots of GBA titles... and they do still look pretty respectiable on a TV...

If the GBA did include this TV out feature I would get one. The GBA is used for portable gaming. As I am 18 and drive I wouldnt get the chance to use it much as I would be driving places rather than taking a back seat. At home I would rather play on the PS2 or DC on my 28in Tv than play on a little tiny screen.

True, but remember this feature would cost money to include. Ninty would far rather make the GB cart thing on the N64 or the game gear thing on the SNES (can't remember their official names!)
