Went to the zoo a few weeks back. Hadn't been for ages - probably since I was at school. I actually really enjoyed it. Fed an elephant and a giraffe and saw one male giraffe with a huge giraffe erection trying to pork another man-giraffe.
Saw some sea lions, which I think are now possibly the most graceful creations on this planet. Hippos are cool also and I didn't realise how many different types of monkey there are.
Anyway, all in all it was a good few hours and I'd recommend that you all go to the zoo at some point in the next few weeks.

Colchester Zoo actually. I think it's the nearest one to me.
I'd call myself a zoo veteran. Whenever I go travelling I always go to the city zoo. Vienna's is the best; they've got a polar bear that tries to get you and orang-utans which look like your granddad.
When I was in Barcelona a few weeks ago I went to their zoo and they had a dolphin show. That was nice.
Which zoo was it, YH? Don't think London Zoo has sealions. Whipsnade? Marwell? Chester? They're all good.

Sealions are great. Saw some a few weeks back. They did tricks and stuff.
Saw a bit of a hippo too. The nostrils. The rest was under water. Stupid hippo. There was a really lazy bear, who lumbered around, then slowly climbed into his hut. He was cool.

I love the zoo, but it's always a disappointment when you leave the animal bit and the snack bars, gift shops and crappy merchandise stands take over. Went to a huge zoo once, it was really well done so that you felt like you were walking in a caged area through their natural habitat, instead of looking at cages.
I'm surprised they let you out again, personally.
