We're now left with Richardson who can't defend to save his life. As a winger he is becoming excellent but as a defender, he's pretty much useless.

That is bad news for the rest of the season but not such a worry for the weekend as you're facing a team who cannot score goals in the Premiership.

Well seeing as Fergie sees Smith as Keane's long term replacement why not shove Silvestre out on the left and team Afropuff and Keane up together.

As Wes Brown is injured too, we don't have many options other than O'Shea Ferdinand Silvestre and Richardson. Unless we switch O'Shea to the left and play Bardsley on the right.

I say slot giggs in at left back for anfield. They are likely to play pongolle down the right so giggs pace will be handy. Giggs has always been good at tracking back and usually puts in a decent slide tackle when he can.
