However, for the few of us that enjoy football, i thought this could proove to be fun!
I love doing football Accumulators and very often, well actually never, have i won a bet of one. So to try help me spending all my hard earned cash i thought we could play a game. These are the rules (and even people who know nothing about football can play!)
Each week i will post the fixtures for the premier league on here.
From them you choose 4 games and say how it will go.
Getting 3 out of the 4 correct grants you a point.
Getting all 4 will get you 3 points.
Simple, right! I will of course keep a list on here and update the scored of the people playing.
So let me know if your interested in playing along. Fun game to keep me occupied and may actually help me finally win a bet!

Trust Chelsea to cost me 2 points!
I think we can all agree the SPL is not as good as the PL - but no point in arguing about it : D
The new fixtures will be up soon!
We need to try knock Butch off top spot (but as a Spurs fan i would accept him to win lol)
but dave was way off beam.
way off beam? it was a comment said in nothing but jest so kindly take it that way rather than flaming me. i am not some blinkered fool, i know the spl is poor hence the tongue in cheek comment!

Even as a Rangers supporter (with family ties - my uncle played for them in the 70s) I have to agree the SPL is a very dull league. Rangers and Celtic probably couldn't 'cut it' in the Premiership, as their recent performances in European and national sides have shown. They'd probably be able to land a middle-bottom half position and it'd be nice to see.
As for local county leagues being better than the other teams in the SPL.. get away. Hibs and Hearts would easily by Championship worthy (not necessarily top flight) and even St Johnstone would be worthy of Coca Cola League One

Congrats on a good shout...but.........
Please define a 'real league' .....
Hibernian
Dundee Utd
Motherwell
Aberdeen
Hearts
St Johnstone
St Mirren
Hamilton
Kilmarnock
Falkirk
I guessed you noticed, two teams are missing! The only two teams that might 'cut' it in the Premier League.
World football next, Scotland qualified for the World Cup?
Just tell me what it is, apart from some 'misguided' Scotland v's England scenario, that makes you think that the SPL is a real league?
Can you really, hand on heart, believe that the SPL is better than the PL? They even have to play eachother 4 times - yet it's still dominated by two teams.
I'll give you that some of the best managers have been or are Scottish but be honest, my local county leagues are better quality
than the SPL.
St Mirren, Hamilton, Falkirk, St Johnstone for the PL, to name but a few - PL standard - you're havin a laugh :-)
