Right, i know some of you guys are not keen football fans so probably not a great thread for you - sorry.

However, for the few of us that enjoy football, i thought this could proove to be fun!

I love doing football Accumulators and very often, well actually never, have i won a bet of one. So to try help me spending all my hard earned cash i thought we could play a game. These are the rules (and even people who know nothing about football can play!)

Each week i will post the fixtures for the premier league on here.
From them you choose 4 games and say how it will go.
Getting 3 out of the 4 correct grants you a point.
Getting all 4 will get you 3 points.

Simple, right! I will of course keep a list on here and update the scored of the people playing.
So let me know if your interested in playing along. Fun game to keep me occupied and may actually help me finally win a bet!

Portsmouth v Stoke (DRAW), West Ham, Chelsea and Villa

Not trusting Spurs any more after they let me down last week!

Agreed, but they absolutely didn't deserve to win by the way they played in the first 60 minutes. The next 20 was quite weird though, absolutely everything went well for them, every time they got the ball space opened up and defenders moved away.

I've read some quite odd ratings for the Man U players last night. I thought Fletcher and Scholes were brilliant but their performances are getting pretty slated. Apart from Rooney & VDS, they were the only 2 people playing for Man U last night from what I could see.

I was impressed with 'Dinho, he looked like scoring or at least setting up a goal every time he got the ball. Also, nice to see Beckham is still rubbish.

And while Man U were beating AC Milan in the Champions League, Man City struggled to a draw against Stoke. Woo.

lol, not a good midweek for most of us!!

The Man Utd game was good, enjoyed watching it, but thought Man Utd could have really done with cashing in and getting a 4th while they were on top, would have ended the tie!

Dav and DL are in with a chance of grabbing a couple of points. Can't believe we all did so badly though.

Anywho, I'll take my 1 point and run. Thank you very much.

But still, i like to add these litle bonus things in to make life fun!

Got a couple more good ideas for near the end of the season!

That would be quite amusing. There has been so much hype about this game because of Beckham I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't actually happen.
