"The Football Accumulator Thread"

Right, i know some of you guys are not keen football fans so probably not a great thread for you - sorry.

However, for the few of us that enjoy football, i thought this could proove to be fun!

I love doing football Accumulators and very often, well actually never, have i won a bet of one. So to try help me spending all my hard earned cash i thought we could play a game. These are the rules (and even people who know nothing about football can play!)

Each week i will post the fixtures for the premier league on here.
From them you choose 4 games and say how it will go.
Getting 3 out of the 4 correct grants you a point.
Getting all 4 will get you 3 points.

Simple, right! I will of course keep a list on here and update the scored of the people playing.
So let me know if your interested in playing along. Fun game to keep me occupied and may actually help me finally win a bet!

Seems I got some points after all. And Agbon was the one fouled but didn't score the free kick.. damn!

Looks like it may be Villa's day, or at least 4-4 :S

I need Villa to wrap the final up 2-1 (didn't even know Rooney wasn't starting so oh well- would've went with another Man U player, so doesn't make a difference). Also need Sunderland to pull off a win. There's still some points up for grabs.

I've edited my first goalscorer pred as Rooney is not starting. I doubt Man United will win now, but I'll stick with the scoreline.

In my years of following them I have never been so angry at being a Chelsea fan. Alright the refereeing wasn't 100%, but the whole match was a farce. Ballack deserves a slap (although I don't think he meant to kill Tevez like some seem to be saying).

Bridge deserves one too. If he come out looking focused and then refused to shake John's hand immediately then fair enough. But to come out smirking, then offer his hand and then take it away cartoon style, then get caught smirking again.....Bah! How upset and angry are you Bridge?

Anyway, damn my fear of causing Chelsea to lose. They handle that themselves.. Back in the game.

All's good so far. Arsenal were incredibly lucky. Just need to a draw from Spurs and Toffees, and a win from Sunderland.
