Tickets went on sale yesterday at 9AM. I tried to get them then but the traffic to the site was too much for my connection to handle so I had to leave it.

Just been to try again however and I've got 3 tickets for the arena floor in Nottingham which was a huge surprise. Not selling too well maybe?

Anyway if you want tickets there's still a good chance you can get some pretty close to the ring. Mine were £45 each.

It'll be Vince as there's no business sense for the Arena to hold an event and advertise it as sold out when it actually isn't. I guess it's just Vince trying to show his competition that the WWE can still sell tickets even though anyone can just pop onto the net, read a fan report of an event and know that it's a load of trash

I don't know why they do this? The only thing I can think of is people seeing it as sold out may make people think it's really good and when they come round again there'll be more demand. Wonder is it's Vince or the arenas advertising it as sold out? My bets Vince.

The Sheffield one i went to last year had lots of empty seats despite being advertised as "sold out" (which actually strikes me as shooting yourself in the foot, if you're advertising it as sold out when it isn't people who may have decided to purchase tickets won't as they'll think the event is actually sold out) apart from the first 3 rows in the upper tier the rest of it was empty

Agreed. The last one I went to had a few empty seats, whether that was because people hadn't turned up or not I don't know.

No maybe about it, it's been blatantly obvious that the shows have struggled to sell out in recent years. Whereas in the days of Rocky and Austin headlining shows the events would usually only get promoted once on TV before saying they were sold out (heck some were sold out before they even advertised it on tv) they now take a good month or so before finally being "sold out" which means we have to put up with that extremely advert for it over the top of the commentary of a match about 3 or 4 times each show.
