Why dont you get the American version as that comes out in November(5th). Or get the Jap version when its released in July/August or September, When ever the Jap console is released as its going to be released before the American one. So get the American one if you getting it in November or if you can get it eariler then get the Jap one.
4) You can still play UK games!
I didnt think you could play UK games on an import console. Well apart from the Gameboy.

You must remember imports cost more than they cost had you bought them in japan. BUT seeing as japanese DCs were only £100 when they were £200 here, you could get an import DC for £150, and then get it chipped to play multiregional games for only £15... you save money and have a console that can play games from the UK/america/Japan...
I must point out that the chip did NOT allow u to play import games

Well, go to the PRIME TOPICS place and read the "real facts behind importing"... basically the advantages summed up are:
1) Import games run up to 17% faster
2) Imports don't have black borders
3) You can buy games that never come out here... like Virtua On... one of my fav games ever!
4) You can still play UK games!
There are some disadvantages, but please post these in the aforementioned topic (after you read my original post that highlights many more plus points!)... it's easier to keep all topics together

Just admit you live in europe.... and wait for your console to come out. I will wait for the Gamecube to come out when it does over here.
