If you fancy a laugh, it's worth buying/borrowing a copy of today's Sun and reading the Jeremy Clarkson column, which is all about Hurricane Katrina and the American response.

Yes, I know the low esteem in which the "newspaper" is held, but it really is worth a read. Hilariously funny, at the expense of the US government.

I really love this quote :) I'd have thought being a president's son he'd have had a good education himself.

“Rarely is the question asked: ‘Is our children learning?’”

here's one from the other day;

"So please give cash money to organizations that are directly involved in helping save lives—save the life who had been affected by Hurricane Katrina."

The guy's a total idiot. You'd think they'd be worried about having a president who doesnt make sense half the time, run their country and represent all Americans.

When I read it earlier today I had to wonder why the hell he was shopping in a shopping mall in Nevada without wearing any shoes? I wouldnt be suprised if for health reasons it wasnt allowed. I dont believe I've seen anyone shop in bare feet in the UK.

Thanks for typing that up WM.

I found his column far more to the point and far less childish than Michael Moores two penneth brought to our attention by light.

He wrote pretty much exactly what I was thinking.

God bless America

I'm not a huge fan of the French... although I like Thierry Henry, he's a legend.

Most of them are just bitter about Agincourt.

But he actually has reasons for that, whereas with the French it seems a lot of the time to be a case of hating them because they're French and not much else.

But it's ok when he's hating the Americans?
