Despite not owning one, its good news to hear and hopefully will strengthen Sony as they head towards PS3.

But, I can't say the PSP doesn't deserve it ... I'm feeling slightly tempted myself, and the DS has been untouched for a few months now. But I'll be happy when MK, Animal Crossing and the wi-fi shizzle is all for me.
If I decide to keep my DS, it'll be because of those very games.
Lol the fastest selling console before the PSP was the DS and before then it was... wait for it... the Gamecube.
A launch period can be great but, as the Gamecube proved, it can go downhill.
It is good the PSP has finally had a good launch though. It had an average one in Japan and America.

GBA Micro = Failure and hopefully Nintendo will realise that theres a limit for the amount of times you can release different versions of the same console and still make it sell.
Nintendogs = Success. Although I wouldn't get it, I can imagine alot of people will, it's kinda like a tamagochi with more options I guess, people will like it.

Exactly. Look what happened to Rover with cars.
What Sony realise is you need to come up with fresh ideas to make people want to buy your product. Nintendo used to be able to do that but haven't been as sucessful these past few years so Sony need to learn this lesson to stay ahead of the competition.
