Yup, left the DS trailing at sub-100,000 figures.
Well done Sony!

Same lack of sales happened with the GC here.
What about elsewhere?
> Sony win again? a touch of dejavu
Well, don't hold your breath. DS sold 100,000 in a week a while back, which is just unheard of some 6 months after launch.
But, I can't say the PSP doesn't deserve it ... I'm feeling slightly tempted myself, and the DS has been untouched for a few months now. But I'll be happy when MK, Animal Crossing and the wi-fi shizzle is all for me.
A launch period can be great but, as the Gamecube proved, it can go downhill.
It is good the PSP has finally had a good launch though. It had an average one in Japan and America.
I wonder what will happen when Nintendogs/GBA micro are released next month...
Ohhhh it is getting good... and the good news is... both sides are winning because they're both making a killing!
Nintendogs = Success. Although I wouldn't get it, I can imagine alot of people will, it's kinda like a tamagochi with more options I guess, people will like it.

Exactly. Look what happened to Rover with cars.
What Sony realise is you need to come up with fresh ideas to make people want to buy your product. Nintendo used to be able to do that but haven't been as sucessful these past few years so Sony need to learn this lesson to stay ahead of the competition.
