First band in awhile that I like enough to go buy the album.

Anyone else like them?

I've heard Cold Wind off of Six Feet Under. Thought that was quite decent.

I've never been so bored watching a song on a music channel as when I tried watch Arcade Fire.

Yer. I won't be buying the album.

Saw them at Leeds, which has inspired me to try and 'get into' them, and it's working. Power out and Rebellion (lies)are both top class - they've battered my audioscrobbler chart this week, which can only be good.

And they're the only live band I've see who had a member beating a blanket with a drumstick as an 'intrument'. Yeah, it was only for one song, but still... crazy.

Yup, love the album although I haven't listened to it in quite a while. Are one of those bands waiting to get the attention they deserve if you ask me.

Two of the members have recently released an instrumental album, post-rock type stuff, which I've been meaning to fill my ears with for a while.

White Stripes?
I don't think so. Plus, there are about x6 members.

I've heard the two singles and a few other album ones. I love 'Wake Up'... which I think is on the BBC Advert just now.

Yeah, their first single Power Out was pretty good, but the singer seemed a bit whiney. But this is a bit of a weird comment coming from a Smashing Pumpkins fan :p

But yeah, they're pretty different - whiff of White Stripes a little, though.
