Yeah thats got to be one of the worse things to happen as well as someone booking a day off from work to play the game and I feel for any group who were close to killing a main boss in any Instance, just to be disconnected.

My server isn't on the list. However it assigned me to the Emerald Dream server where it says I have 2 characters.
I've never had two characters on any server. And I'm pretty sure I've never been on Emerald Dream.

Stuck on 'Connected' here. Got my hopes up too, as it flickered through Authenticating and Handshaking etc.
