Poseidon is cool, especially when he rises out of the sea in that Sinbad movie.

What really happened:
Poseidon over heard 2 lifeguards talking about how they thought the system was a waste of £65,000.
Poseidon see that a girl is in the water and sends an electrical shock through the water to knock her out.
Poseidon sounds the alarm and it looks like the system saved the day and was worth all that money.

Bill Gates was feeling love-starved on one cold and wet Winter night when he decided to make a fully automated, holographic girlfriend. He decided to model it on Aerial the Mermaid.
He had been drinking himself out of depression and even a level 6 genius like himself couldn't dice roll his way to victory. The evil -3 Dwarves of Hrheydkhia caused him to screw up.
What was created? A warlike God-beast of a hologram, and everyone knows that poseidon has a trident. He trident-zapped the littl girl and her +3 Raichu resistance shield was no match for it.
Then in a Terminator-esque way he waded in and saved the girl, heroically frying in the icy water.
The moral of the story? Buy a hooker
