Edman's got sold to Rennes, I heard, and Reto Ziegler can't stay up past 8pm, thus making him ineligble for midweek matches.

Maybe he sees him as a replacement for Davids in a couple of years time?

Edgar Davids in an actual machine, though. He broke down last year, and Spurs got him on a free transfer because they're covering all repair costs.

Yes, Edman is a good left back and Reto impressed me no end last season, considering he was 18 with very little experience.

Silly move, we should have kept one of the two and not signed this dude.

Edman scored that absolutely awesome goal against us, I remember that. He deserves a place in the World XI just for that goal alone.

Zeigler is unnecessary at the moment, with Carrick, Davids, Mendes, Tainio, Reid, etc. And if LYP (registered trademark) is going to be left back, there probably isn't need for Edman. Although a loan deal might have been better.

Yeah, Lee is class. Bargain buy, too.
