"Are we still allowed to claim Gamecube games as Gameaday prizes."

As some of you know, Grix has claimed 2 Gamecube games in the past but since then, I've tried twice to claim Smash Brothers Melee on the Gamecube but it still shows me as not claiming a prize on the winners list.

It's understandable if you've changed your mind about whether to allow us to order Gamecube games seeing as you won't be able to send them to us for another year but I'd like to know if you have.

If we are still allowed to claim Gamecube prizes then I'm claiming Smash Brothers Melee on the Gamecube.

If not, I'll think of something else.

Basically, our N64's are dead as dodos.

Either we buy cheap second hand games, or splash out on another system (about £100 for a DC or £350 for a PS2)

I will be buying cheap games for my N64 to keep me going but because they're only £5 each, they're not worth winning.

I can't afford a new console right now and I'm saving up for the Gamecube. What's more, after spending about £300 (Gamecube + 3 extra pads + memory cards) I won't have much left for games hence win them here to have them delivered to me, probably before I get the Gamecube itself :-D

That's my life sorted for the next year or so ;-)

Isn't it a little bit worrying that everyone is so eager to choose a game that they won't play for another year? Surely there is something out there at the moment that you really want, and havent played.

If not, what does that say for the current crop of games?

So... it might be a better idea to choose something closer to launch. Mario is bound to be at launch, probably a Pokemon game, but I really doubt Zelda. Check www.ign.com and click on the Gamecube section on the left. There is a new article today about GC release games. Just the confirmed ones, I can guess a few more that aren't there.

Thanks for the warning Er-no, dunno if i'm too late to change it now though. If its not too late maybe i'll ask for Zelda: Majora's Mask or the second Castlevania game on N64 - anyone know what that one is called ? Its the one with the werewolf on the front :-)
