Because the Undertaker became good when he came back so to even it out when Austin came back he had to turn heel....... thats just my opionen anyway.
Or he was getting bored of everyone likeing him so he fancied a turn in character to see what would happen.
Why don't you think of it like this who would Austin be fighting right now if he was a good guy no HHH, no Rock, no Undertaker, kane the list goes on plus maybee there were no new storylines for the WWF to work with if Austin stayed good. Just a thought.
Austin changed to a heel because it was in the storylines. He agreed to these storylines because he has never been a successful heel and he wanted to explore his character. A lot of people still cheer him anyway.
At Wrestlemania, the Rock was getting booed constantly. Even when he got screwed by Vince, Vince got the cheers and the Rock got boos. Austin only started getting boos when he started ripping it out of the crowds.
I dont either.
He won't get booed unless he is a bad guy when he comes back.
