Nah, the seats are better, more legroom (essentail, as although I'm only 6ft tall, my legs are really long compared to the rest of my body), and the seats at the back go right to teh top of the screen heightwise, rather than about 2 thirds of the way there in the Odeon.

Meh, they're all just cinemas.

One film I went to see at the UGC was completely ruined by the deafening volume - I could put my headphones in at full volume and not hear any music, you actually had to shout so your friends could hear you, and you left semi-deaf.

It was a crap film as well.

The UGC is fantastic though.

Depends on the cinema - the Odeon on Renfield St seem pathetically grateful that anyone would go there intead of the UGC, and always let you in.

Springfield Quay and UGC are pretty gay though

We weren't questioned either (mind you, I'm 6 ft and my mate's 6'5), but we're only 17, and he showed his card saying he was 17.

The fool.

No one seems to question me when going to see eighteens, unless I'm with one of my friends.

He's not THAT short, 5' 8" or something, but people are always suspicious

But I don't think you'd manage to get into an 18 (Like I almost didn't because my stupid mate showed his Young Scotcard with his 17-year old date of birth. Then he proceded to say it was his old one.).

There was no one sitting on it, just bending over
