Maths : A
Only did that exam. I do the rest next year.
And you?

Ever read the news?
Or watched TV?
Highers = AS (Lower Sixth)
Advanced Highers = A2 (Upper Sixth)
Everyone I ever talk to when the subject comes up always congratulates me on how well I did.
Mind you, Highers are WAAAAAAAAY harder than A-levels *cough*
Not that I've ver done an A-Level to compare it with.

This is only true to an extent, and it all depends on the individual person and what they want to do with their life. For example, if someone wants to be a doctor the outcome of those 'memory tests' is going to HEAVILY shape their future.

I actually found school quite enjoyable because it was a decent social environment. I've been far more bored since I left than I ever was when I was there.

Pfffft, I know for a fact that there is no-one better than me.
Oddly enouigh, I only got 1 "2" at standard grade and 1 "B" at Higher.
Lest we forget my 6th year, however.
I was predicted an 'A' but you can't win them all

What's pathetic is not realising that a bunch of exams that amount to mere memory tests aren't going to shape your future very much compared to actual experience in the real world. Some of us are intelligent enough to realise that a piece of paper only gets you so far and a lot of the time that isn't very far at all.
Hide from the real world behind your grades then, when you realise you need some social skills and actual experience of the real world you'll see just how pathetic your stance here is.
