You heard Tiago is going to Lyon for £6 million?

Let me get this straight. Chelsea offered an increasing amount of money each time for Essien, right? And one of those bids was definitely £21 million + Tiago, right? I know this.

So Essien was £24.4 million. Let's do some maths.

Chelsea have, in fact, bought Essien for £18.4 million + Tiago. Which is £2.6 million less than their penultimate offer.
