Is it just my set-top box, or has everyone who had Sky Sports 3 just lost it? When I type in the number for it (723) it reacts as if it doesn't even exist. So i checked the guide, and it has been removed, only listings for Sky Sports 1 and 2.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Losing Sky Sports 3 aint a major worry, unless you enjoy watching wheelchair tennis or the dodgeball championships

It works if you lose the Internet too. The signal sometimes just withers and it re-establishes it by resetting. I dont know how it works but it does.

Glad it works for you now.

Working fine now after resetting the box, cheers.

Didn't seem like a problem that could be solved just by resetting the box, what with the listings going off as well.

Reset your box.

Sometimes I lose channels randomly with my NTL, just power it off, leave it for two minutes and turn it back on - should be fine.

I have to defend NTL - they're great, at least in my area.

Sure, you can get stuck in a queue for a while when you call them, but that's the same with many companies these days. At least it's not costing you anything but time.

And whenever we've had a problem, it's been sorted out quickly and effectively. The broadband is great, and the phones are cheap. The set-top box is on the slow side, but we hardly ever use 95% of the functions, so that's pretty much irrelevant.

Anyway, having a Sky box would mean going back to BT for the phones, and we ain't doin' that!

Isn't Sky Sports free for a year with Sky as well?

I'm sure we got a year free before we started paying...

working fine for me.

i'm only with ntl because they are doing sky sports free for a year. thier customer service is full of complete jokers. They kept saying stuff like "i'll phone you back in 10 minutes" and they never do! had 3 different people do this before we got through to somone who actually sorted out our problem.
