I think the PSP headphones are ok, but nothing spectacular.
I don't really know anything about headphone quality, but looking around I've seen recommendations for Shure e3cs at a really expensive price down to Sennheiser's at a normal price.
The question is to you iPod owning junkies, are the PSP headphones worth replacing with a £20 pair of Sennheisers?
Similarly, I have tiny ear lobes - not even enough to have pierced. Not that I would have them pierced anyway, as I'm not a girl.
The little skanks around here doing that sort of thing pick on old women, not 23 year olds who can handle themselves. Sorry state of affairs really.
I'd imagine the 81's are just the same but I'd sincerely recommend the EX71's. They even come with 3 sizes of earbud so you're guaranteed to find one that fits.
EDIT - Just noticed that you'd actually gone ahead with the 81's. I'm sure they will be perfect.
Personally, I despise the PSP and iPod ones - they're so uncomfortable. These Sony ones actually fit snugly into the ear - they're amazingly comfortable.
So, what's better the ex71s or the ex81s?
I'm sorely tempted by the Enytomic er-6i's, should I wait until I've been paid again and spend the £80 on headphones??
They're the best you can get quality/price. £30 a little steep for cheapos perhaps. But they're immense and super cool.

That's cool, I had a look at the link earlier before the removed it :D.
Do SR sell decent headphones anyway?
Superb sound quality and bass.
