What about having the same as it is, but you can also bet your points on matches.
Eg. There are 4 matches on Wednesday, so you will predict as normal without staking any of your points on the matches. Then it is optional to whether you want to stake points on predictions, predictin either home win, away win or draw. It would not matter if the score is wrond as long as the result is right.
This is how people would have to set it out:
Name: Foreman - 30 points
5 - HOME - Arsenal 1 Fulham 0
0 - DRAW - Blackburn 2 Tottenham 2
1 - AWAY - Bolton 0 Newcastle 1
4 - HOME - Chelsea 1 West Brom 0
The 1st column shows how many points you are staking on the home away or draw. You would either double them points if you are correct or you would lose them if you are wrong.
It would probably be easier to work out the 5 points first :
1 point for corect score for home/away side.
1 point for correct winner.
2 bonus points if you get result + scores right!
And then working the bets out last before adding them up. If people were on 0 points then they could only predict the usual way as they'd have no points to bet.
It is up to you though.
1 point for correct winner.
2 bonus points if you get result + scores right!
> I thought it was five points for getting everything right about one
> match?
What are the points for then? I've been thinking
1 point for correct winner (home / draw / away)
1 point for the correct goal difference
1 point for the coreect score (who ever wins)
1 point for correct winner and score
and 1 point for???
Or is that just totally wrong?
Blackburn 1v2 Tottenham
Bolton 0v2 Newcastle
