Good, good. We already knew it was almost certain, but it's good to have complete confirmation too.

I'd have to recommend VGC. Importmadness are usually a little cheaper, but they're incredibly unreliable unless you pay pathetic shipping prices (in my experience anyway).

VGC have always performed to top form and always mark my goods as 'Gift' - that way it aoids being taxed by Customs. This may not be guaranteed on something as heavy as a handheld console box though.

Yep. If they released the DS over here this year there wouldn't be this problem. I can't wait another three/four months so I'm importing.

I couldn't afford all those games right now either, but I have some money which I will buy some of them with as soon as they come out, get the DS and a few games as an early Christmas present on US release, and then get games I didn't have money for previously at Christmas. I still get staggered games.

I just play Timesplitters or FIFA. I never tire of those games.

Wasn't a long rant against importing. A long rant into what I can and cannot afford.

The importing problem is Nintendo's own doing. For Revolution they should stick to worldwide releases or near to it to stop the importing frenzy.

I don't import, Nintendo stagger releases in such a way so there is a big release every so often. It allows people like me to save for said "periods".

It's all well and good importing during Christmas but if I do that how will I pay for Metroid Prime 2, Prince of Persia 2, Paper Mario 2, Minish Cap and Mario Vs. Donkey Kong? Exactly I can't.

But If there is just the one major Gamecube game launched in the March-May period then it is an ideal time to get a DS. I'll have a bit of money and no other spending commitments.

I like the summer drought as it gives me time to play games and save for Christmas.

Also importing is part of the system that gives Europeans bad deals. Nintendo used to take ages releasing titles in Europe, not 100% true anymore but they used to. Because of which 15% of Nintendo home console owners import. An amount that eclipses the X-box and the PS2. 15% is a high figure, barely any Gamecube title hit the charts in Europe as 15% of the owners tend to have the games from other countries.

It means Nintendo do even better in America but worse in Europe... which means Nintendo are less likely to spend time moving games to Europe and concentrate on America. Which means more people import. Which means Nintendo do worse in Europe... etc... etc...

I'd rather not be apart of that circle.

Although hypocritically I used to import the GB games I really wanted.
