Welcome to Sports Longest Thread

The sports forum is a great place to be but doesn't have much going on all the time, plus every other forum has one so why can't we?

Maybe with all the replies things will look much more popular

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest footbal match, to the next Olympic games, or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

If anyone else tries to copy this you will fail miserably and i will be forced to laugh at you.

Oh and no spaming or text talk its not liked by anyone and it isn't funny to spam.

None of the Jenkinses will ever let a Rooney near them, not since the very public and only slightly regretted Big Picnic in Stanley Park not 4 years ago.

United were linked to anyone with a pair of gloves. I hear Mrs Jenkins at number 27 was also linked at one point.

Ah, I love that guy.

I had him for a season in my Chelsea game, after selling the woefully underrated Petr Cech to Liverpool and conceding that Buffon just wouldn't leave Juve.

Also had him for a season in my Pro Evo 4 master league team.

Is he any good in reality?

Remember the last edition of proper Champy before the big FM2005 switch? John Welsh and Le Tallec always became world-class superstars.

Now it's nearly always the Recoba show. Or the Baros show. Occasionally it's the Gerrard show.

Just once I want the Carson show. Just once. I bought him, y'see, just for loyalty. And he's pap. Really bad. He'll be better on the next one.

My favourite goalkeeper is Sebastian Frey. And someone mentioned Espen Johnsen (Down? Rasta?), he's dead cheap at the beginning and good too. But not as good as Frey.

And you can get Morgan De Sanctis on a free after a season, he's ace.

Bloody Baros. Still, £8m for him from 'Boro :-D I sold Flo to them as well once. He was getting pisssy about being behind Crespo, The Djib & Ashton in the pecking order. So, off he went. Along with Mellor. Moody twunts. Luckily for me the random attribute assignments for the younger players had made James Frayne, Karl Noon and Adam Hammill *awesome*. So everything was fine :-)
